Honens International Piano Competition celebrates exceptional pianists who unite technical mastery with artistic innovation and cultural insight. The Honens Honours gala recognizes individuals and organizations whose arts patronage has enriched quality of life. Honens required a distinguished visual identity, an elegant invitation for VIP guests, and commemorative collateral for gala honorees.
Creating a distinguished identity with Honens' nonprofit budget required strategic ingenuity. Forgoing imagery, the design elevated their existing brand typeface through imaginative composition. Gold and brown metallic inks on uncoated stock lent richness to the print collateral, while the gala invitation featured two-level embossing that rendered the wordmark dimensional and tactile.
