The Intersection of Art & Automotive
The launch of Audi's supercar, the R8, marked a pivotal moment in automotive history, and we were tasked with creating a truly attention-grabbing visual identity to match its significance. Drawing inspiration from artist Barbara Kruger—whose provocative work interrogates consumer culture through bold typography and striking contrasts—I developed an art direction that playfully subverted her anti-capitalist aesthetic to celebrate automotive desire. This visual approach became the foundation for the entire campaign, creating a cohesive identity that carried seamlessly across all touchpoints, from print advertisements to large-scale out-of-home installations.
